Need recommendation on how to Pack & Carseat or Stroller travel systems such as check-in baggage for air travel?
I plan travel abroad and would like to carry travel system (stroller and car seat) with me. The baby is living abroad and this will be a gift for my wife, because the issue is twice as expensive than buying in the U.S.. I would like to tie the stroller and car seat and put together as one piece of luggage. I have other luggage me. These are not made on the issues. Weight is not the problem because airlines allow 50 pounds per item. I would like the seat stroller car to arrive safely at your destination. I was informed that the combined system should not exceed 62 ". If I wrapped together with a shrink-wrap or box, there will be no acceptable. Does anyone have ideas on how I do it? Please do not recommend me to buy a new one there. I appreciate your honest answer.
I do not know if you can package them together as a single element. The best way to package them would leave them in the original packaging (if possible). If that is not possible, then go to warehouse packaging (UPS Store, FedEx Kinkos) and have the box stroller and car seat for you. I doubt that you will be able to pack the stroller seat car together and come in less than 62 inches. Your best bet would be to pack them seperatly and pay for an extra bag or ship via FedEx or UPS.
