Can I drive a 125cc motorcycle in Ireland?
Hello, I live in the UK and have just got my CBT. I also have a driving license of Full UK. I'm thinking of getting my bike soon. I'm wondering if I need anything else I can handle in the Republic of Ireland? I visit my mom there very often and plane tickets and travel to the airport is expensive. I'm thinking this may be a cheaper way to get further that also allows me to travel around a bit. Thanks, Rich
Yes, you can travel in the Republic of Ireland, if your insurance covers you. But also remember that you can not use highways in a provisional license in the UK or Ireland, which will be a bit of a pain to get to the port and out of town in Ireland.
